This is the About WorkMoneyCats page – a little behind-the-scenes look at how I, Alexia, started this small family project of children’s books and printables.
This project began from a place of uncertainty, but it soon blossomed into something full of hope.
After moving to a new country without knowing the language and without a stable job, I turned to what I knew best – creating. Step by step, I built a cozy little universe filled with printables, stories, and charming characters like Tiko and Piko. Everything here is crafted with care and a touch of magic – to help kids (and parents!) discover joy through learning and creativity.
Why WorkMoneyCats?
It started as a joke – but it stuck.
We needed money. The cats needed food. So I said, “Time to work… because the cats won’t feed themselves.”
And just like that, WorkMoneyCats was born.
Over time, it became more than a name. It’s a reminder of where I began – and why I keep going.
